# Taxes Modification

Taxes, along with the Currency of Payment code, are automatically retrieved from Galileo. However, the Currency of Payment and taxes can be modified afterwards in several ways.

### <mark style="color:blue;">Currency of Payment Change</mark>

If the Currency of Payment is changed, all tax amounts are updated accordingly with the new currency code, including correct number of decimal places.

Example: Change CZK to USD:

### <mark style="color:blue;">Fare Calculation Date Change</mark>&#x20;

When the Fare calculation date is changed, tax amounts, ROE, and fare conversions are updated according to the rates valid for the selected day.&#x20;

Example: Change 30NOV24 to 29NOV24:&#x20;

### <mark style="color:blue;">Tax Deletion or Insertion</mark>

To modify the tax list, it is recommended to use the built-in context menu for deletion or insertion.

#### Tax Deletion

To delete a tax, click on the **Delete Tax** option in the context menu.

Example: Tax YQ deletion:

#### New Tax Insertion

To insert a new tax, add it to the end of the tax list in the table, or click on **Insert Tax** in the context menu for the applicable table row. Note that the total number of taxes is limited to 20.

Example: Adding new tax ZZ to the line number 7:

Any modification in the tax list will automatically update the **Total Taxes** and **Ticket Total (TTL)** values.
