# Wallet Rules

#### Organization Wallet

* Credit can **only be added** via paid invoices or rare root admin adjustments
* Currently used primarily for TCP Exchanges & Refunds service (formerly Booking Management) **subscriptions**
* Will be used for additional applications and services as they are introduced

#### Marketing Wallets

* **Service-specific:** Each application has its own marketing wallet
* **Have expiration dates:** Credits expire if not used by the specified date
* **Priority usage:** Marketing wallet credits are used **before** Organization Wallet credits when subscriptions renew
* **Custom expiry:** Root admins can set custom expiration dates for each credit
* **Default expiry:** If no custom date is specified, credits expire after **1 month** by default

#### Subscription Renewal Priority

When a subscription renews, the system charges in this order:

1. **Marketing Wallet** for that specific application (if available)
2. **Organization Wallet** (if marketing wallet is insufficient or expired)
